Woven & Tufted - Brand & web development

A timeless solution

Label were commissioned to create a new brand from scratch for the experienced carpet & rug retailer Peta Maine. After our initial brand workshop we came up with the name "Woven & Tufted", as it embodied the quality, handcrafted products that would be sold.

We then moved onto the identity - experimenting with concepts centered around "contemporary, quality, traditional & handcrafted." After a lot of ideas and feedback from Peta, the custom "&" as a needle and thread was chosen to be developed further, to represent the craft of rug and carpet making.

This idea, supported by the type in a traditional serif font gives a timeless look and feel and the use of egg shell blue works perfectly in the logo and across the rest of the brand material.

The website is currently in production and as soon as it is launched we'll update this space.
