Last month, they released the Penguin algorithm, which will
work alongside their other updates.

Ignore tablets at your peril

The
marketing world is constantly changing, and nowhere is that more true than in
the field of mobile devices.

Opportunities
to market your products and services through mobile has expanded over recent
years, while the tablet market was almost non-existent only two years ago –
then Apple launched the iPad, which it has sold over 55 million since its debut
in 2010 while a host of other manufacturers have launched their own tablets.

Connecting with your customers

We worked on behalf of
Fine Individual Hotels (FIH) to grow a fan base on Facebook by initially
running two competitions. Facebook plays an intrinsic part of many businesses online
marketing and website promotion tactics. The statistics behind Facebook are
staggering – the network had 901 million monthly active users by the end of March
2012; the average user is connected to 80 pages, groups and events; and if it
were a country it would be ranked third in the world.

The median age for
Facebook users is now 38; 57% of users are women; while the fastest growing
demographic is women over 55-years-of-age.
