Server and data protection

We operate two entirely separate server systems - the LabelEd infrastructure and our custom hosting servers.

Regardless of usage, all servers are kept up-to-date with weekly security patches provided by the operating system vendor.

LabelEd infrastructure

LabelEd servers operate in a separate environment to the rest of our hosting packages. Third party access is not available, however all systems are kept up-to-date by ourselves and the LabelEd system is patched with updates on a regular basis - in functionality, security and bug fixes.

Custom hosting

Where agreed, third party software is regularly updated by us. If access to hosting space is required by persons other than Label employees, we require a fixed IP to allow through the firewall systems and all file transfers must take place over an encrypted channel such as SCP/SFTP (regular FTP access is disabled).

Physical security

All our production servers are run from a state of the art data centre with 24/7/365 on-site staff. Biometric locks and round-the-clock surveillance protects from unauthorised access.
